I recently stayed at the Hans Brinker Hostel for a few nights and it was fantastic. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the major sights and surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff was incredibly helpful 

The location of the hotel is very convenient, as it is close to Leidseplein, a vibrant area with many shops, restaurants, and attractions. the hotel offers a variety of facilities such as a bar, where you can enjoy cheap drinks, and a buffet-style breakfast with a wide range of options. 

Clean rooms, great place to meet new people. The hotel had good breakfast and a helpful front desk. The rooms had private bathrooms, which was a plus.

Long check-in queues and limited bathrooms and showers. Inconsiderate behavior from other guests led to inconvenience and feeling unsafe.

Fantastic location, short stroll to top attractions. helpful staff, recommendations, arranged taxi. Clean room, ensuite, renovated. Daily cleaning. Great bar with tasty and cheap food/drink. Near major metro station.
